About

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is a private research deemed university located in  Katpadi in  Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. Founded in 1984 as Vellore Engineering College by G. Viswanathan. Day 1(23.06.2023) ONLINE mode:

• Session 1 -9:30 am to 11:00 am
  • Introduction to Microprocessor and Microcontroller.
  • Architecture and Memory Organisation.
• Session 2 11:10 am to 12: 40 pm
  • Hand-on on Keil Micro-vision software and basic programming.
• Session 3 2:00 to 3:30 pm
  • Timer/Counter, Serial Communication Programming.
• Session 4 – 3:40 pm to 5:10 pm
  • Interrupt Programming, LCD, and Keypad interfacing.

Day 2(24.06.2023) at TT729,VIT Vellore:

• Session 1 -9:30 am to 11:00 am
  • Interfacing LED, Switches with the microcontroller hardware.
• Session 2 -11:00 am to 12:30 pm
  • Timer/Counter Programming and generation of the square wave.
• Session 3 – 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
  • Interfacing LCD, Keypad with Microcontroller.
• Session 4 – 3:40 pm to 5:10 pm
  • Discussions about Final Year Project Ideas with possible hardware.
