Responsibilities for Website Developer at IIM Bangalore

• The selected incumbent is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining end-to-end custom sites related to public, admin and internal applications including microsites, blogs, newsletters, mobile apps, etc
• Developing and maintaining enterprise-class websites and applications based on Drupal9, HTML, SASS/SCSS, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, Rest API, WordPress, etc.
• Develop key components with multi-language support.
• Ensuring the applications are mobile-friendly and optimized for different devices and browsers.
• Ensure effective usage of content management systems (CMS)
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure websites are functioning correctly.
• Testing both new webpages and current websites and correcting potential errors that may arise.
• Creating and managing databases for website and mobile app functionality
• Ensuring website accessibility and security to protect sensitive data and user information.
• Responsible for enhancing, maintaining, and updating existing websites, microsites, apps, blogs and newsletters.
• Administration of web server independently
• Search Engine Optimization
• Handle social media updates, post, run, and trade campaigns.
• Responsible for Post Go-Live and application maintenance support
• Staying up to date with the latest web technologies and industry trends to ensure the website is current and secure.

Salary

The indicative annual CTC will be in the range of Rs. 6.3 lakhs – 9.52 Lakhs. The compensation will be fixed based on candidates’ experience and qualifications and will be as per IIMB Contract Appointment Rules.
