Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad (abbreviated IIT (ISM), Dhanbad) is a public technical university located in Dhanbad, India. It has a main campus of 393 acres in the Sardar Patel Nagar area of Dhanbad and recently Jharkhand Cabinet approved 226.98 acres of land in Nirsa for its second campus (a total of 619.98 acres ), IIT (ISM) Dhanbad administration has plans to open more than 29 academic centers in this upcoming campus in Nirsa, Dhanbad. It is an Institute of National Importance. It was formerly known as the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad before its conversion into an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
About Student Internship 2023
The Institute is inviting applications for the One Student Internship position under SSR of the DST (SERB) R&D Project entitled “An Investigation of Ergo-human Model to Evaluate the Functional Capacity of Coal Mine Workers [PI: Prof. P. S. Paul, Associate Professor, Department of Mining Engineering].
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc./ M.Tech/ B.Tech in any discipline.
Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge and interest in work Physiology/ Excercise Physiology/ Work System Engineering/ Mining Engineering.
Age Limit
The Upper age limit is 28 years at the time of the selection process.
Duration
Purely Temporary. Maximum 2 months/ Project submission date whichever is earlier.
Fellowship
Rs. 5000/- per month.
Location
Sardar Patel Nagar, Dhanbad, Jharkhand.
