Online Training on the Pedagogical Perspective of Virtual Labs on DIKSHA by CIET-NCERT for Students, Parents & Teachers [July 10 to July 14]: Participate Now!

CIET-NCERT is organizing Online Training on the Pedagogical Perspective of Virtual Labs on DIKSHA from July 10 to July 14, 2023, from 4 PM to 5 PM.

About the Training

The Sustainable Development Goal 4 of the 2030 Agenda, adopted by India in 2015, seeks to ensure Inclusive and Quality education for all by 2030. To accomplish this goal, a great many initiatives have been proposed in NEP 2020 for equal access to quality experiments-based learning experiences for all learners anytime irrespective of their geographical and cultural background. In this context, Virtual Labs have been launched on the DIKSHA portal in July 2022.

To orient the teachers and learners about the significance, scope, and integration of Virtual Labs in teaching-learning, and assessment in subjects like English, Mathematics, and Science, CIET, NCERT is organizing 5 days of online training on the “Pedagogical perspective of Virtual Labs on DIKSHA portal”. This online training is being organized by CIET-NCERT from July 10 to 14, 2023, from 04 PM to 05 PM.

Objectives

After completion of the training, the learner will be able to:

• Explain the policy recommendations for the requirement of Virtual labs.
• Describe the significance of using virtual labs in teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Describe the scope of virtual labs in developing experimentation skills.
• Explore the possibilities of integrating virtual labs in teaching, learning, and assessment of English, science, and mathematics.

How to Participate in a Pedagogical Perspective?

Step 1: Interested individuals can register through this link.

Step 2: Participants have to attend training sessions, which will be live-streamed on NCERT’s Official YouTube channel from July 10 to 14, 2023 from 4 PM to 5 PM (Monday to Friday). The session will also be telecasted live on the following:

• PM eVIDYA channels #6-12.
• DD Free Dish Channel.
• DISH TV channel #2027-2033.
• Jio TV mobile app.

Step 3: Participate in the post-session quiz, score 70% & above to get a certificate.

• Post-Session Quiz Link. (Link will be updated on July 14, 2023)
• Opening Date: July 14, 2023, by 6:00 pm.
• Closing Date: August 14, 2023, by 6:00 pm.

Participants are allowed to attempt the quiz only once and those scoring 70% and above in the quiz will receive a certificate of participation in their registered mail ID within 30 days of taking the post-session quiz (Check in SPAM Mail if not found in the Inbox).
